with Fern the octopus...
and Emma the cow...
While cruising around my blog list, I found this unreal little invention - the bottle pet. They are a soft snuggly toy in which a bottle fits inside to keep cool/warm.
They are made of polyester micro fibre, so it is nice and soft to hold while also cuddly enough to help your little one drift into 'nigh nigh's land.
You can get yours from Kelly at childhood clothing, she has them with free shipping for a limited time - so hurry.
I got two, so when one is in the wash, I can use the other one - smart thinking hey! (not to mention, I couldn't just choose one).
They are easy to grip, and Lachie has been holding onto the arms of his octopus, and swinging it around until it is in his mouth (I think he has turned it into a game now). I thoroughly recommend them to stop bottles rolling off into the distance and out of reach.
Which one is your favorite?

Oh my god - these are amazing!! What a fantastic idea...almost worth having another baby for..well, maybe not quite that extreme but mine would have loved these! Birlliant!
Also, Kelly, thank you for your jam jar idea - I posted a link to your blog on my post about it! And Lachie is gorgeous by the way!
What an amazing idea! I love it! One of those ideas where it's kind of obviously simple, and 'why didn't I think of that?!' Genius! I like Bo the panda, Emma the cow and Isabella the pig...can't choose one favourite!
Yes I agree, Lachie is very sweet indeed. x

Childhood
Mom seeks life - They are great aren't they. I can see how even as toddler they would still carry it around.
I'm glad the jam jar worked. I saw on your blog the bags - what a fantastic idea.
We need rain here too...but I have no activity bags ready!
Little diva - Thanks for your comment, yes it was a great find. I want to give them to all my friends having babies. I think they are a great idea.
The seventy tree - Yes I know, so obvious isn't it. I hate it when I see things like this and I think it was right under our noses all the time.....I'm sure back in the day - I would have discovered and built the apple mac computer....that's of course if I knew then, what I know now about them.
I love pablo the monkey, that might be my next purchase.
I think I am going to get the copenhagen book, it looks beautiful, thanks so much for the link.
Childhood - No problem, thank you for stocking them. I love it.
These bottle pets are so cute! I wish I would have had one (or 2) for when my kids were small. It took my daughter forever to figure out how to hold her own bottle. This would make a great present for a new mom... I'm going to keep that in mind for when my friends have babies again!
Hey Stephanie,
I know what you mean. I used to prop up my older ones bottle with a few pillows, then once it rolled out it was lost under the couch.
I thought I might grab a few more for presents too, especially for friends who already have the same sex, and they have everything already - plus they're cute!
They're lovely!
I love Jerome. So cute. :)
Lachie is a little cutie!
Thanks Chantelle, yes I like Jerome too. I like his colours.
Natalie - Why thank you. He wasn't too cute at 4.30am this morning though....bless his cotton socks!
Kelly these are great... It almost makes me want to bottle feed my baby girl... Almost hehe...
xo Steph
Hi Kelly, thanks for stopping by. How cute are these (and Lachie)? I give my vote to Emma the Cow.
