She is a Kiwi living in Japan, and her lovely blog Blooming in Japan is all about her day to day goings on, and her beautiful etsy shop selling gorgeous bags for kids. I had to take a photo of my purchase, as it was so well made, and was wrapped beautifully with lots of little goodies to look at.
I am a real sucker for little bits and bobs, so when I saw the cute pink tissue pack I knew it was going to turn into another display piece for my shelf.
My buy was this little card case made from Japanese fabric to keep my business cards in.
As a surprise, she put in this gorgeous felt notebook for me! Woo hoo I love surprises. It is beautiful, I love it.
But then, I went to use it the other day.... and.... I had to put it back - all because I don't want to wreck it!
See, I'm a hoarder, I can't be saved!
**Just want to add - that when I say hoarder I mean... I am keeping the plastic wrapping it came in, the card and envelope, the cute tissue pack and I am not going to write in the notepad so it remains crisp, white and clean!!
Please don't think I was thinking of throwing ANY of it away!

That is adorable!!
These bit and bobs are worth hoarding - they are gorgeous. And I checked out your friend's blog - it's lovely. Going to go back for a better look when I have some time later!
i love it all!
Cute stuff. I can see why you wouldn't want to use the notebook!
My name is Naomi and I'm a hoarder, we are moving soon, so I'm packing fabric away...I keep scraps! sad thing is I've packed it in a box and hid it amongst the others so hubby thinks I threw it away. SAD!
I love Japanese fabrics and these are great Kelly, don't get rid of these.
Oh no, I don't mean I'm a hoarder as in want to throw them away, I mean I am keeping the the wrapping, tissues and the book all in tact without opening it!!
I love this little package of delightful goodies! I would be just the same...too nice to use!
Isn't it! I was the sort f kid who would receive a present and keep the box it came in... and the bow ...and the envelope - if it wasn't written on and in good nik.
No wonder my husband sighs when he looks at my stuff piled p on my dining table.
I was exactly the same!
no shame in finding beauty in the smallest of things. lots of interests growing up but always value in the shape colour or texture which have become little treasures.
I love your little footnote - I don't think you can be saved! You will make a great Nana one day.
Haha, a very crafty Nana at that!
My nannie taught me how to knit and crochet, so it will be nice skill to pass on........but it is to two boys at this stage!
At least they can knit jumpers for their girlfriends.
